Antigoni Apostolopoulou

Antigoni Apostolopoulou is a counseling psychologist. She graduated the Psychology Department of the Panteion University, and continued her studies in Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology and Counseling in Health, Work and Education at theUniversity of Athens. Since January 2017, along with her private practice, she has beenworking with EPAPSY mobile mental health units in the Western Cyclades. She is a PhD candidate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation. Her research interests include the use of art inpsychotherapy and counseling, issues related to artistic creative activity and expression,as well as issues concerning the therapeutic process and the therapeutic relationship.

Avra Laou

Avra Laou is  psychologist and a Ph.D. Student in Counselling Psychology at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. She studied Psychology at the   University of Crete and then she continued her studies in  Psychology & Counselling at the Manchester Metropolitan University. She is a member of the scientific committee of the 2nd Pan-Hellenic Congress of Psychology Students “New psychologists in Greek reality: questions and dynamics of the field”. She has worked as  psychologist at the psychopedagogical centre "PNOE Chaidariou", K.S.D.E.O. Edra and  at the Ministry of Education. 

Participation in research during her undergraduate studies:

"The psychosocial identity of the homeless people In the surrounding area of Athens" (2007) (use of both quantitative and qualitative research tools).

"The economic immigrants in the area of Crete" (2008) (use of both quantitative and qualitative research tools).

Katerina Faltseta

Katerina Faltseta is a graduate of the Department of Psychology of the Panteion University with an excellent degree (8.64) and a PhD candidate at the University of Athens. He holds two postgraduate degrees, one in Counselling and Vocational Guidance at University of Athens (S.E.P.) with an excellent grade (9.53) and one in Counselling on Health, Education and Work at University of Athens with an excellent grade (9.00). She has also completed her education in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Children, Adolescents and Adults. He has worked with teenagers and students, both in private schools and at the University of Athens' Advisory Center. Finally, he has attended seminars on psychology and specific counselling issues

Fanis Karagiannis

 After completing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Panteion University of Athens he followed post-graduate studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Roehampton University of London. At the moment, he is a Phd Candidate at UOA. Under P. Issari’s and D. Loewenthal’s supervision, he writes his thesis: “On Becoming a man: Lived experience of psychotherapists sons of psychotherapists fathers”. His research interests are focused on themes of reflexivity, identity and existential analysis, being a Scientific Partner in the Laboratory of Qualitative Research in Psychology and Mental Health of UOA. For the last 8 years he works as an Existential Analyst, cooperating with the Training Institute “Antistiksi”.

Effie Mitsi

Effie Mitsi is a psychologist and a soprano singer. She studied Psychology in Panteion University.  She has received MSc in “Applied Psychology for Children and Adolescents” from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Monody Diploma from the Ministry of Culture and Sports. She continued her studies in Clinical Psychopathology (Eginitio and Sismanoglio Hospitals), “Psychotherapy for Anxiety in Adolescence” (Gennimatas Hospital), “Mental Health & the Internet” (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (Psychiatric Hospital of Athens). She was responsible for Literature, Theatre and Music Groups in mental health institutions and she currently works in special education centers for children and adolescents.
